I got to spend a whole 55 minutes in a tree saturday-evening and had 2 smaller bucks within 20 feet of me in no time. They came to a rattle and grunt sequence almost instantly. I heard them sparring behind me and then I heard at least 4 other deer join them. My wife and I both saw big bucks out in open fields in the daylight today; one near Sandwich and one near Wilmington. Things are getting exciting and it's going to get better real soon.
