Guess what. I printed this off and took it to my MPP' s office today. He is Jerry Ouellette, our Minster for the MNR. His office told me wow, is that not ridiculous. Then asked me what I wanted them to do, they would do nothing. Said to let the courts to look after it. This really got me upset. How can a Provincial Government sit back and not take anyone to task for the actions that the Police took in this story. They also told me that it was the law and that the police can do that if they feel there is a sufficant threat, all though they they might have over reacted a little .

I do not care if this person was an armed robber, that was no way to treat this person in any case. IMO the officer in charge at the scene should lose there jobs and the other officers should be punished to the maxium.

All it would take is for someone to report your licience to the police and say you had a gun shooting and I guess they would come to your house with guns drawn.
