Default RE: Nikon Prostaff BDC?

There are differences in recoil between different types of gun, some of the differences in price may be because of a difference in design. I have the Nikon Omega [along with about 20 other scopes] and I have found it to be an excellent scope; I sight mine in a bit different than some, with 120 gr BH209 and a 350 gr Shock Wave it is "0" in 2.75 inches high at 100 yds on "0" at 165yds and the first ring is on at 200yds the second ring is on at 230yds the third ring is just a bit high at 250 yds and that's the longest distance I have been shooting it at. My groups do vary with the wind and weather [also with me I am over 70 and sometimes it shows] my best ever group is with the Nikon Omega and is .210 center to center at 100yds I can normally expect to be under 2 inches at 150 and under 3.5 inches at 200yds beyond that its just having fun as I wont shoot at an animal over 200yds. The scope is on a Triumph that I lapped [ using a lead slug in the proper way and with JB bore paste then polished with jewelers rouge. This is on of the two most accurate guns [muzzle loaders ] I have owned the other is a Z 5 Omega and it will match the way the Triumph shoots if I switch the scope to it. I just don't seem to quite be able to get the same level of accuracy with my other scopes. Lee
