Default RE: New Flinter on The Way

Thanks for allof the encouragement guys. Semisane, The RMC touch hole liner is on the list of things Dave gave me to order. I will be making a couple of orders next week. From what I understand, the biggest thing is charging the pan with the right amount of powder. From what I have read, too much is not good.

I started ML with a 50 cal TC Renegade Hunter 15 years ago. There wasn't even a ML season back then. I was just doing it for the challenge and the nostalgia. Then about8 years ago I went through the whole inline thing. I have a Knight Bighorn and a TC Omega. The last couple of years, I have been migrating back to using the Renegade. I have bought two other barrels for it. I have a 54 cal TC barrel I bought this year and a GM Long Range Hunter barrel for it. The next logical step in the progression to old schoolwas to go flinter. Of coarse Dave had no trouble convincing me to eventually get one. (The man is just not good for your pocket book!) The nostalgia of the older guns has always attracted me. This is probably going to be just as addictive as the whole inline thing was. Oh well.
