No, what I' m sayin' is you have no idea what to complain about. Fellas will complain about stuff that' s their own fault, or at least not a problem with the outfitter at all. Its what gives dudes a bad name. Last year, the drought and overhunting the year before caused 5x5 herd bulls. We saw very few big bulls, and the snow ran the elk outta the high country early. Now I' m sure some nimrods blamed the outfitter for the scarcity of game or the small racks they took home. Or maybe a greenhorn falls off a horse an' hurts his back. After all his hard work, barely makin' ends meet on his mortgage ' cause only a dozen of his hunters drew tags, havin' to sell off a third of his stock cause he couldn' t feed ' em through the winter, getting a second loan so he don' t lose his lodge, the outfitter gets blamed. I' ve seen it a hunnert times. Dudes don' t know what is reasonable to expect of a outfitter or guide, an' they don' t know what goes into settin' up a proper camp. But they sure know how to whine.
