Thanks guys, I am going to scratch the Insulator Wrap idea. Now, time to search around and see if I can find side plates. If not, the moleskin idea doesn' t sound to bad. I would much prefer the grip removed than having the grip on, but, the metal isn' t good comfortable. If I don' t find any side plates, I might just wrap it in mole skin and put a Simms Insulator Strip on the back to make it a little more comfortable.
