RE: cva optima pro 45cal
I spent a small fortune in different projectile and propellant testing for my CVA .45 Optima without getting anything resembling useable accuracy before I shelved it and went back to my sidelocks.
I used Pyrodex (loose and pellets), 777 and around half-a-dozen different projectiles. No good.
I've worked up loads for three rather finicky sidelocks in .45, so I'm not unfamiliar with experimenting/being patient... this Optima just won't shoot for me.
