That sounds exactly like the buck my brother shot a couple of years ago. The deerhad a hard time walking and even went down a couple times but composed himself enough to walk out of sight.My brotherpulled out and went back in the morning and found him 20 yards from where he last saw him, double lunged.I'm sure your morning will go as well.
