Default CALLIN ALL BOWTECH AND/OR SIMMS FREAKS!!

Hey guys,

I am planning on ordering some more stuff for my bow on Friday. Now, as you all know, I like the grip on my BowTech MightyMite, but, it is a little big to be ideal for me. Now, I took the grip off and it seems a little too small to be perfect, but still very comfortable.

Okay, so, here is what I am thinking of doing. I am thinking of taking the grip off, and wrapping that area with the Simms Insulator Wrap. Like I said, the feel of the bow without the grip is just a little to small and I think the Simms Insulator Wrap might be enough to put it in my ideal category. Has anyone done this, and if so, what are you comments on it.

Now, another few questions. First, how easy is the Insulator Wrap to install. It looks simple enough, but, if there is one thing I have learned in archery, its that everything can be decieving. Second. How does the Insulator Wrap hold up? Is it durable enough for one a serious well used hunting rig? Third, Does it actually help reduce handshock and noise? I can see how it would but don' t think that it would be enough to notice. I could be wrong though. And Finally, how easy is the Insulator Wrap to remove? If I put it on the bare riser, when I want to take it off (if I ever want to), will it be a pain in the butt? Will it leave a glue or something sticky all over the riser? Will it fill the holes for the grip up?

Thanks guys, like I said, Friday I will be ordering some stuff. I gotta get my Rocky MT Gator XP' s, and a few other small things to finish of the MM.
