I'm also in Illinois. I think we're running behind this year. I went out last weekend andsaw limited scrapes, I bet they are just starting to open up now real good. This cold snap should help but the elk rut in the west was late this year and I think the rut looks likeit's going to be running 4-6 days behind what it usually is. I think this weekend is going to be the first good weekend off the mid October lull.
