Excellent post OK, and great looking skulls! You should try some Sal Soda next time, I bet it cuts your boiling time in 1/3. Its relatively cheap too.

One more thing...I spoke with a guy a few years ago that does Europeans for a living (using beetles) and he used Baquacil Shock & Oxidizer (swimming pool Chlorine substitute - chlorine free) to whiten his. I've never tried it, but he makes a full time living doing skulls for taxidermists all around the country - so I have to assume it works well.
