Shouldn't hurt it at all. I've been elk hunting for a week and had no problem when on the last day I finally got a shot and the elk. But, don't do like my partner did. He kept his charge in for a year. Yup, missed his first shot this year and it sounded flat when it went off.Go figure. But he ended up with a very large 5 X 5 blacktail that same day. We hunt in Eastern Washington state.
