Glad your reminded me Tom, you didn't notice the dry-fire from about 15 feet away either! That Vortex is spitting out a 395gr arrow well over 300 ft/sec. I have to disagree with you Tom, the speed loss is about 8ft/sec. That is negligible in any normal person's books.
