We usually get loose trace mineral salt and mix it with Di-Cal about 50-50. Just dig a hole about 3' diameter and about 10" deep, pour the mixture in and dig in some dirt with it. We usually put out about 50 pounds of mixture at a time. It usually works better in a heavy clay area.
