Is simply a very good example of the kind of hunter that the sport would truly be better off without. Period. If some think that's harsh, so be it. That kind of mentality, although I beleive it is not representative of the majority of hunters, does little more than provide useful fodder for the PETA crowd. Our enemies would always point out a worst example and Bluebird happily provides it for them.
I said nothing that is detrimental to our sport and I didn't provide any fodder for PETA. Alt was the one that did that.
Apparently you have a hard time dealing with the fact that words have meaning. When one is successful it means that they accomplished their goal,not that they had a good time failing.When I go hunting the primary goal is to harvest a deer and although I certainly enjoy the challenge of the hunt I do not consider it to be a successful hunt unless I fill a tag.
If you have a different definition of success that's fine with me. Some guys always wear rose colored glasses and try to put lipstick on a pig.
