It poured as expected on Saturday so I didn't get out of bed. What a mistake. My original plan was to go out the back and sit in one of the stands behind the house. About 11 am things started to clear up and I could actually see out the windows and notice the tips of antlers sticking up. Turned out to be that wide 7 point. I watched him off and on and then the rain would come back. My son had his last soccer game (I'm a coach) and the team was having a party after the game. So I ran out to see get a few last minutes things and came back and checked on the buck and he was gone. I thought, great, I don't feel bad any more.

About 12:30 (game is in an hour) I look out and the 7 is back and now he has friends. Ribcage is there (the big 10 point) and the have a new friend as well. Here are a few pictures.
