I shot him in central Nebraska by Arnold. (40 miles Northeast of North Platte). I actually go to college in Lincoln and I can tell you that you have some studs down by beatrice. This buck wasn't doing too much as far as the rut goes. He slowly walked to me after using a doe estrous bleat. But he wasn't all that into it. His neck is completely normal size (no swelling). But I did see a mid 130's chase a doe and pretty much lock on her all the way to the trees. He had his nose up her but and they slowly walked 100 yards into the trees so he may have gotten lucky...
