Well you've picked a pretty good time to hunt. I believe the deer are just beginning to go into pre-rut. Pike, Brown and Schuyler counties are the best to hunt trophy deer. The weather should be 50's +/- during the day and 30's to 40's at night. Lots of rolling hills, some bluffs near the rivers and lots of timber. Trees are still pretty leafy so it's thick. I've never hunted with them so I can't advise on that. Good luck.
