Default RE: Not 2 Impressed with the 09 Hoyts

Hoyt was the company that set the standard that others had a hard time following. Is that the Hoyt of today? Everytime one caught up, Hoyt raise the bar. Many Hoyt shooter were very happy without a parrele limb bow, but the next thing you know, that's all they were offering and what tooktheir place was not a parrel limb bow that others needed to follow although Hoyt had years to develope one. It was deficient.Going on 3 years now and they still aren't the "wow" that people felt before. I know, I took my brother to shoot an 05 protec I'd gotten. He was a diehard pse guy and didn't think that anything was worth the upgrade. I saw him shoot it for the first time at the shop. Wow was what he said. He bought an 06 protec the next year. We both picked up a tykon and are wow was, what a load. I haven't felt the need to pic up another.

People pulled a 70 pound Hoyt's when they could barley pull a 60 of other bows.

Nothing to improve? How about a setup that doesn't require a cable guard? bound to improve speed and eliminate problems. Or how about one with adjustable grips? Imagine the improvement in accuracey. Or a 50 pound bow that shoots 300 fps? The bow could be more light weight and fit almost anybody.
