I am shooting a Diamond Rock at 62lbs. I am having a hell of a time getting my new xx78s to fly worth a darn. I have been practicing with xx75s in a 2315 this summer and shooting great. Down to 2 arrows so I bought a new dozen of the xx78s in 2312 because that is all they had and the guy at the shop said it would be similar.
I was getting great groups with the old arrows but I cant get new ones to fly straight. The arrows seem to be leaning left at impact and very erractic. Any suggestions or fixes? Thanks
Take them back to the guy at the shop and tell him he's FULL of it??? I gave up on aluminums a LONG time ago, because I could NEVER get them restraightened after a bad shot or two, so I've been on the Carbon Bandwagon since the "beginning of time" or so it seems,
circa 1996 or so. Not sure what your DL is, but for your set-up, you need a 400-ish spine, which is gonna be a 2117, 2216, 2315, 2314 are all decent, that 2312 is a more along a the .425-ish spine range, which as gonna fly erratic.
