Long time 700 owners, how long have you had your 700? What kind is it? (cal. & finish) How much do you use it? What do you like the most and least about it. Has it ever let you down?
Ive had a few 700s and quite a few other brands and models in my search for my "go to rifle". Im shooting a 700 mt lss 7-08 this year and Im really happy w/ it so far. I hope it lasts me a long time.
I bought my first 700 (BDL) in.243 Win., in 1970 or 71. The bbl is nearly shot out now, but it still has "hunting" accuracy. No, it's never jammed or failed to function or fire in any way...
It was a real tac-driver for many years, but the many thousands of rounds that has went down the bbl, has taken it's toll...
I was going to get it rebored to 25-243, but i guess i'll leave it alone, as it just doesn't get much use these days.
