Why choose? Keep all kinds of arrows on hand then shoot what you want, when you want. I switch back and forth from wood to carbon to aluminum, depending on the mood I' m in at the time, or depending on what I kind of shooting I intend to do.

The only bows I' ve got that are designated ' wood only' are my selfbows. Just seems to be a little blasphemous to shoot anything but wood off an all wood bow.
