Why don' t you try blowing a trumpet, I hear that deer are very curious and will come around to see what the noise is. Better yet, why not piss in his scrapes, I hear that is supposed to trigger their territorial instincts.
All kidding aside, you should be carefull about inviting me down to hunt your deer, the last guy that did that ended up helping me drag a 13 point non-typical out of his spot, I just walked right into his bedding area, got him out of bed and waited in the back door for him to circle, bang, dead deer!!!
