Default RE: Is hoyt going out of business?

ORIGINAL: Dopler

I've owed several Hoyt's and I said never again after the Hoyt Trykon joke that I bought.Worst major bow on the market in my opinion. They make a good recurve bow though but they should stay out of the compound bowmarket.I will say that thebows look nice andhave beautiful finishes but are notvery good performers compared to the other big three. I doubt they are going out of business though.
I can't help it but this might be one of the funniest things I have read here in a long time.

Not good performing compounds being said about a bow company that is not only just winning in all the archery events, they are dominating the podiums in quite a few of them.

I have an 04 hunting bow from Hoyt that was put on a shooting machine and checked out from top to bottom and was told that this HUNTING bow outperformed 99% of all bows that this guy had ever put on his machine. He said it was one of the most forgiving bows he had ever checked. That being said, there are some Hoyts that he has checked that have been near the bottom as well.

But,there is a new bow from another manufactuer right now that does not do well on his test or in the hands of a friend of mine but people love it anyway,so name does mean something.

Right now Hoyt has a really great performing line and there is no need to drastically change it from top to bottom every year, that would be crazy.(that is how things get out of hand and mistakes start getting made)They keep tweaking and enhancing a few things to keep a new base coming in but in no way should they do wholesale changes to one of the best performing lines on the market.

JMHO.
