One antlered decoy?
I read somewhere if not on here that taking one of the antlers off a decoy can lure in a rival buck more easily. This is because the rival will see the decoy as a lesser buck and easier to put a whoopin' on. I believe in the logic but my question is this...
If I am looking toshoot onlymature P&Y or better bucks, is this tactic really neccessary? Will the big boys really care if a decoy is single antlered or not? On the flip side of that logic, could a mature buck be less interested in a decoy if one of his antlers is missing because he views this decoy as unworthy or a fight?
