the only animals i use scents on is deer.i challenge you blow hards to come to texas and see how good your skills are.there are many deer here but they are very elusive. you can sit dor hours and never see a thingusing a scent is no different than using a scope. it is just another tool to help improve your hunting.i never used scents until a few years ago. the hunting was very tuff that year. when a buck came to my scented candle and knelt down on it front legs, i had to laugh. idid not shoot that deer.it is a tool to pull the deer out of ravines and heavy wooded areas. it is no sure thing but it does help at times. by saying it would not work on mature deer you are very wrong
