I had a CLOSE encounter w/ 2 does tonight. They didn't give me a shot at all. I don't know if they thought something was amiss, or it was the wind that made them so cautious.
They hung up 30yrds. out and barely moved 2 steps for a 1/2 hour.
It was gusting up to 30mph. tonight. My wife said I'd be home early....boy ,I thought she knew me better.
I climbed down after dark when I knew the does were long gone.
Day off tomorrow....all day hunting.
