Default RE: Low rings for a Rem 760...

without any problem. However when it comes to putting the scope in the rings...aligning the cross hairs etc...I'm a novice. My last question could be a stupid one. The scope currently has already been sighted in. Do I need to reset the windage & elevation adjustments? Or is it as simple as mounting the scope & rings onto the base, align the crosshairs as best possible...snugging
I've had 2 scopes boresighted and both seemed to be further off when I went to sight them in than the guns that I've just put the scopes on. I quit having that done although it may very well have been the people doing it. It's not needed though. Just put the scope on see how it shoots and adjust it until it's shooting how you want it to.
