I took my daughter (10yrs) with me into the stand yesterday and we saw some deer. Those were her first in the wild and she is very excited to get out there again Needless to say, I am very excited as well....

Earlier this year I bout her a Diamond "The Edge" 30 to 40 and it is currently set to 30#s. I was looking and Alabama law says you have to pull at least 35# for deer, so we are working on it.

That got me to thinking though....with 35#'s of pull what are the odds of pass thru with rib(s) or a shoulder involved?

To me, 35# just seemed a little low for deer hunting I guess.
