That was fun, and quick
My brother and I haven't hunted together for a couple years but we still hunt well together apparently. We both drew antelope tag for the same area this year(just doe tags)and we hunted together today. Long story short, we both ended up harvesting antelope about thirty seconds apart. We both made double lung shots with mine also taking a piece of heart at decent range. We were on public land with lots of people but we stuck to our plan and it worked well for us.
We were only about 10 miles from my house and had them both skinned, quartered, and in the freezer within about an hour and 15 minutes of them hitting the ground. It was pushing 65 degrees here today and we wanted to get them cool as quick as possible.
Anyways, the reason for this post is not really to brag or anything (in fact I didn't even take any pictures) but just say how nice it is to hunt with someone you've spent a lot of time with and trust. Even when dressing, skinning and prepping the meat, we just know what the other is going to do.
Hopefully, we'll be able to do as well when elk and deer season rolls around.
