Last night my 5 year old son and my 7 year old daughter went out in the woods to check on the food plots. We were walking along when i spotted a newborn fawn that was still wet but you could see that it had been tended to.

When I showed it to the kids they were in absolute amazement. I was amazed to see the look on there faces and how quiet they became. We went behind a a scrub tree and they continued to watch for at least 30 min. What an education mother nature gave them last night.

This re-affirms my feelings that you need to spen time with your kids in the woods when they are young and you will reap the rewards as they grow.
