i did swab the barrel every 2 shots or so. they loaded hard the first inch or to of the barrel and then slid down fairly easy after that. one thing i noticed with my bullet starter it would push the poly tip down int the bullet is this common. if so is there a different bullet starter i should get or what?
OK, there is your problem then, you need to swab every shot if your going to do that and you must get a proper bullet started for a ShockWave or SST. Hornady or TC sells them for $6, your chaning your BC and mashing it down, making it in effect an inconsistent XTP. Get the right tip, here is one on MidSouth:
