How do I get directions and permission to inspect the property before leasing?

Click on "driving directions/permission" under the property you wish to visit, enter your login information, and an email will be sent to you along with directions and a permission slip to access the property. If someone needs to be notified prior to inspection, it will be noted. Otherwise, this is all you need to make a personal inspection. Print it along with a copy of the aerial photo and take it along with you to help distinguish the boundaries.

Is the price per hunter or per group?

All properties are listed at a value for the entire property, no matter how many hunters you have, up to the maximum allowed.

What exactly do you mean by maximum hunters.

A.
That is the total number of hunters allowed in your party and all must sign the lease. If it is a 6 person lease, then 6 individuals can hunt that property anytime they like. Not 5 guys this week and then 4 different guys next week. This management technique is mainly to maintain game populations and insure that these properties are quality hunting opportunities for years to come. Our landowners contract with us because we still give them control who enters their property instead of countless club members that don’t become familiar with the property. More hunting pressure = less success. We want our lessees to come back.

When does the lease start?

Your hunting lease begins whenever you decide you want it, and lasts for 1 year from that date, unless specified otherwise.. It is yours upon receipt of a signed lease with payment in full.

Do I have first right to renew?

A.
Yes, as long as the landowner approves and you get the payment to us 2 weeks prior to lease expiration as stated in the lease.

Who do I make the payment to?

A.
Payments are made out to Base Camp Leasing, 10412 Allisonville Road, Ste. 107, Fishers, IN 46038. Payment is due in full within 7 days of committing to a lease. Payment can be made with a certified or cashiers check, or through PayPal.

Are food plots allowed to implement a wildlife management plan?

Wildlife management policies will be determined on a case by case basis since we are dealing with individual landowners. Some already have food plots. Tillable acreage does not mean it is yours to plant as you like. You are only leasing the hunting rights. If your wildlife management plan calls for a food plot, this should be worked out with the landowner in advance.

Are there any other fees?

Each group must be a member of the Base Camp Hunt Club® in order to lease Base Camp Leasing property. The annual fee is $45 and payable at lease initiation and upon renewal. Base Camp Hunt Club® members will be covered with a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy
