My season is just a week old and I am seeing deer.Not seeing any bucks yet but they are hitting the scrapes. A few more cool days and things oughta pick up quickly.

I am getting busted just about everytime I try to hit the stand of the day. Once they start blowing I figure I'm done. I did have a BIG horse headed doe present for a slam dunk 20 yard shot but held off just cause I didn't want to drag her 3/4 of a mile.

So NO!!! My season is OK so far and I'm not bummed yet by any means. Give me a few weeks and I sure could be changing my tone. I have been carrying a compound but have decided the old Pheonix is going on the next sit. The compound I like but only love would describe my relationship with the Pheonix!

PS... I would be alot more pleased if the weather guys could actually tell me which way the wind was gonna blow!! Those clowns are killing me.
