Sabots should give you flatter trajectories and less recoil with the same powder charges...

Of course, if your shots are within 100 yards, it doesn't matter...
One of my KRB's favorite loads is a 250 gr. expander on top of 110 gr. of 777. I haven't tried the 300's yet. The thing about these conicals is that they load so freaking easy, shot after shot.OnceI pop'em past the muzzle, the slide right on down without any swabbing between shots. You'd be surprised how mild the recoil is with that big bullet, but then I'm not recoil sensitive either.
