Default Bow Setup - Stabilizer vs STS

My cousin just got a hand-me-down bow from his brother. It is a older Hoyt, but it is still in great shape and will probably serve him fine fora few more years. The bow was stripped down when he received it. He has put on sights, a new string, a whisker biscuit, and I am giving him new arrows (see my post about the WB and Blazers).

Now, the bow only has one mount, which is on the front of the riser. So we are trying to decide between putting oneither a front-mountSTS string suppressor or a regularstabilizer on the bow. My question is, which one, the STS or the stabilizer, would more effective in reducing noise and vibration? I am leaning toward suggesting he go with the STS, but I just wanted yall's opinion.
