RE: Magnus Broadheads
i am no expert but from what i have seen and done. If it shoots true dont mess with it. why add a new variable to a proven equation if you know what i mean. personally i like Slick Trick magnums in the 100 gr. i was shooting muzzy 3 blades before that. for me the muzzies had some drop compared to my field points and decided to try the 4blade slick tricks because of every review i read about the near perfect flight, just because i didnt want to have to sight my bow differently just for broadheads. IMHO that is a viable reason to switch. but if you are happy with the way the snuffers shoot why try and fix something that isnt broken.
and as far as purple was saying every deer bleeds differently my buddy shot a button buck(mistook it for a yearling doe) last year thru the heart on a quartering away shot that imbedded the broadhead(NAP Nitron 100 i believe) into the oposing sholder blade that deer didnt bleed one drop until it droped 15 yards away and left a huge pool of blood under the deer. but at the same time he shot a deer the year before with the same set up and similar shot and that one left a river of a blood trail. who knows what can happen after that arrow connects with its target.
again just my oppinion and what works for me may be horrible for you. or the next guy
