You mioght lose some clover but it' s better to be a little wet than dry. both Dutch and Ladino prefer wet conditions, so a little too much shouldn' t be a big problem. If the puddles can drain in 48 hours, the clover will survive. I' ve got a plot of Ladino on a hilltop. Had a bunch of rain and the seeds in tractor ruts came up. Got a dry spell when it was about 3 inches tall and lost about a quarter of the plot. Can' t figure out nature.
