i dont think i ever wanna test my harness....just for that reason you mentioned i KNOW its not gunna be "user friendly" but, better than hitting the ground.....i guess

ive always wondered what severly outta shape guys, or real old timers would do if they hit the end of their rope...i see alot of hunters that i KNOW cant pull themselves back up or bend and manuever around to get back on stand...with a climber, your going to be hanging below your stand...nothin but straight, limbless tree below you....might not have a cell phone or service...or maybe its up in your pack or something....only option may be cut it and hit the ground....the thing that kills you about a fall is you dont hit feet first...i guess falling 10-15ft feet first might be doable...very survivable.....
