RE: SC HUNTING QUESTION
I'm not a lawyer. If you have a legal question you should ask a lawyer. However, I served on a jury in Columbia SCwhere a man was charged with (amoung other things)being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. It was a handgun and he wasn't hunting, but the instructions we were given were pretty straight forward. No mention of a hunting exception was given. He was a felon and he was in possession. We found him guilty, but we were not involved in sentencing. I later found out that you can get life for that in SC. The penalty is severe so you really should ask a lawyer.
