10 yard shot through the "soft spot" and the arrow didnt blow clear through and stick in the ground?? Interesting. I wonder why. I wonder what it would have done on a 35 or 40 yard shot? You may want to limit yourself to no further than a 15 or 20 yardmax range with that setup.
See all that grey hair in the Hero pic? He's only pulling 60 lbs. [8D]

Congrats Jeff, Very nice doe. Ive killed two now an donated them both, one to hunters for the hungry and one to my go-to family thats takes about every deer I can give them. But I must say, Im getting low myself, I believe Im gonna hold out for a bigger boddied deer now and put her in my freezer.

But this "Buck hunting" has me intrigued... Im hunting where Ive seen them cross but it seems the little ones are using it now. But just monday when I killed my first one, on my way to pick her up, I spotted 4 deer in the field, one "monster" that I have no trail cam pic of, Im gonna take a 200+ yrd at dark scoring guess at 140's. He was with either 3 does or really small bucks, they ran into the woodlot That I just killed my fawn doe from thursday

I have an awesome place That I think could possibly be a good place for bucks, but i would have to get another stand and put it in a pine. And then be very carefull to how I approach this stand.
