I bought a 700 sps with that new x pro mark trigger this summer and I did not like the trigger at all, I hate to say. Unlike the old trigger it is not adjustable for overtravel and sear engagement and I could only get the trigger pull down to about 5lbs(damn gun co. lawyers!) so I sold it a few weeks later on gun broker.

I love my other(pre x promark) 700 but you might want also check out weatherby or savage varmit rifles. JMHO
