Any Other Shade Blind/Color Blind Hunters?
I am shade blind (don't see red or green, it's all brown; and black and dark blue are both black) and shade blind persons are known to have trouble with depth perception. If there are others, how do you deal with judging distances in low light? When the light is good, my Bushnell range finder works great, but in low light, it doesn't.
Last night when I got out of my stand and walked about 100' along the edge of the meadow towards home, there were two large does grazing. I wanted to take one, but could not tell the distance.
Just wondering...
