I had someone on another site tell me that you are supposed to leave the metallic grease stuff on semi auto guns that have it on as long as possible. I've been cleaning one and rubbed it down with oil over the grease. The first time noticed it didn't come off so just rubbed over it after that. I'm now afraid I may have it wear off way faster than normal for this. Do I need to get more and reapply or will I be fine?
