Default RE: How to deal with tresspassers??

As a Deputy I will give you some pointers that might help. Although Im not sure what state you live in but in Ohio, The DNR officers do not have the ability to deal with trespassers onto private property. If the DNR officer finds someone trespassing they have to call the sheriffs office and have a deputy come out. The best way to deal with guy is to call the police when you catch him in the woods. Hold him there until the police arrive and there is your proof. Otherwise the suggestions about the camera and video camera are good ones. Usually when I have this problem with people trespassing onto the private property I hunt, they are cited right away but maybe its because I have pull in what happens. Otherwise do what the Landowner suggested and just bury him where no one will find him. J/K but it would work.
