You apparently hunt where the deer populations are higher. in some parts of the country its harder to get the deer, so baiting is an option. I myself will occasionally bait but it depends on the deer on our property. Remember, you bait fish, so if you bait fish, youre not really fishing......using scents is considered baiting in most states as well. Where do you hang your stands? Over any good force source, even if its natural, youre still hunting over a form of bait....i can go on all day about this but i think ill just sit back and open a beer and make some pop corn and wave my sign

On the gamelands where i hunt is public land. And all i do is hang my stand(when i use one) on a game trail leading to a pond/stream. I tend to not use a stand i normally stalk and then bed down near a thicket near the pond and just wait til the deer move and then tag one with my rage or tight point shuttles depending on the bow im using.
