I'm still around Jim. I've been pretty busy with dad and all, but he threw me out of his house Friday night and told me to go hunting Sat being we had cool weather coming in. I sat one of my favorite morning spots with no sightings at all, but I think the fact that the beans were harvested on Friday had something to do with that...it was wierd too because there is NO WAY those beans were ready to be combined.
I went again Sat evening on the opposite end of the farm from my morning sit, and didn't see any deer again until walking out. I guess I should have picked a different stand or moved when I heard the guy on the adjacent property loading wood into his truck. Oh well...it was nice to get out any way, and dad liked hearing about it when I got back so it was all good.
