I shoot with mine attached ,cuz you never know when you gotta take the shot . Its also less to snag on foliage , while creeping about . Might be different if i was sat in a stand all day , but i do see where you are coming from with the Rage in the quiver.
They can end up opening and that means fiddling at a possible vital time , think i might try the rubber band too .
