a spike, came in tentatively, scared of every sound the woods made but he stopped long enough facing away to allow the reticule to settle on his brisket when he turned back, and I whispered: "You're dead." Then a nice 8 pointer, from the same general area the spike came from (surprising how quiet they ca be even on fallen leaves). He stopped to check out the mineral lick and lingered, licking the old salt cured stump. Again, painted him with the reticule and let him walk; he's at most 2.5 but good potential in his rack. Funny thing is that three raccoons ambled under the stand and past the buck. He was nervous from all the noise they made but settled down when he saw what it was; they passed withing 10 feet of him.
i had 2 doe today and a spike and 5 point walk by,nothing worth to take shot.
the 5 point was playing with the spike for 30 minutes.
i got this on my camera,i also had 2 coyotes but were about 50 yards away and too far for my BLACK WIDOW.
