Since the opener(Oct. 1st), I have been out 4 times, and I have had 3 opportunities to harvest deer. The first night I missed, the second evening hunt I passed up a year and a half doe with her button buck feeding in the food plot for 30 minutes at 10 yds. This morning was the first morning I have been out and I kicked up a lot of deer walking in and did not have an opportunity while in stand. And tonight(Sat. night) I passed up three does right underneath me. When I say right underneath me I mean the fawn of the group was licking and chewing on my bow rope. The other two were year and a half old does. I am looking for a mature doe before I decide to shoot.
